vfstab


i am new to solaris
i want to make permanant mount point what should i hv to do in vfstab

1> make a backup of fstab.
Look at the mount point of the / in fstab and make simillar arrangements for the partition you want to mount.
2> back the entire /etc
(this is more of the linux way) add the mount command to /etc/rc.d/ec.local
Use whatever suits you.

You should provide more details about what you want to do. If you use ZFS, there is no need to modify vfstab.
