ufsdump on software partitioned systems

hi,

I would like to take a reliable backup on software mirrored partitions.

But i am confused of using ufsdump utility. I confused, because i'm not sure that, if i used metadevice path(/dev/md/dsk/d20) or device path(/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s3). Could you give me any information about way you're using for backup on SOFTWARE MIRRORED partitions. Of course i need information not just ufsdump but also i need information for fssnap too.

I also need information about recover of software mirrored partions/disk and state database.

Thanks in advance,
Qrshat.

You need to use the device on which the filesystem resides (d20 here).
