Solaris 11.3 IPS package repo? Cannot copy files

When I try out Solaris 11.3 IPS package repo, it is not possible to download and install software. Why is that? Is the 11.3 repo closed?

And another question: I have a Windows NAS and I can copy files from Solaris to the NAS. And I can also copy the file back to Solaris. However, I can not copy a Windows file to Solaris. Could the problem be something that Windows files have no write permissions on Solaris?

Hi.

Are you running 11.3? I haven't played with Solaris enough to know for sure what i'm getting at, in Debian there's backports.

Here is a link including making local repos: https://www.oracle.com/solaris/solar...downloads.html
if works and room? LL

Can you see Solaris's files from windows?
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26502_01...boverview.html

Have fun.
