realfree() core-dumps on solaris 5.9

Hello All,

can you please help me to understand the following functions meaning, i just paste it from the stack strace.

libc.so.1`realfree+0x68(2a3f0, 8000071, 93ac8, 3a4d8, 0, d)
libc.so.1`_free_unlocked+0xb0(ff1efa54, 0, 932f4, ff1efad4, ff1e8284, 2e460)
libc.so.1`free+0x24(2e460, 1084, 93334, 0, ff1e8284, 1000)

free function called to free address 2e460 and remaining arguments are means what? (1084, 93334,0 ff1e8284, 1000 ???)

free inturn call _free_unlocked + 0xb0 (what is this 0xb0?) and the address trying to free is 2e460 passed it to _free_unlocked() but i am not able to see 2e460 in realfree??

Can you please give me some information about arguments passed in the following functions

free( arg) ==> _free_unlocked(arg) ==> realfree (arg)

Please let me know your inputs.

Thanks,
Dayalan

Solaris libc being open source, you can have a look at these functions in http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xr...t/gen/malloc.c

However, the problem you are tracking is very likely elsewhere, i.e. not in libc but in the application own code.
