Openindiana Gparted crash and no partition recognized by installer

Hi,

I wanted to install OpenIndiana on a usb harddrive through the livedvd.
The installers (both text and graphical) did recognize my 2tb hdd (Seagate Barracuda in a USB casing).
However, it did not show previously made partitions scheme (gpt).
So I decided to open Gparted. It crashed. So I opened a root terminal and start gparted through it, it crased as the following codeblock shows:
Code:
jack@openindiana:/jack# gparted
======================
libparted : 1.8.8
======================
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
jack@openindiana:/jack#
I tried to mount the hdd without success. I did include a printscreen as an attachment to this thread. In the image, it is possible to see the terminal (upper-left) and the gui installer (right).

I'm not a programmer so don't ask me to much. I can copy thing in terminal and that's it!

Thank you!

you can use another parttition tool (like gdisk) to check that disk.
would be nice to tell us how did you exactly try to mount it?
