Did you try my suggestion in post #29 before concluding UFS cannot use a 1 TB device ?

for be clear ; and explain my objective
I have disk of 1T for backup data from solaris10(sun)
then after I can exploit this disk under deferrant OS as (Openses or MAc) if possible ;yes I tell you I used only solaris but
you must think in future what can happen? then I think is good to use disk under deferrant OS ; is possible ?
for example after creates disk with zfs but I can't used in OpenSuse
if you can help me or devices me a solutions

I was done what notice in #29
but how I know is't ok
when I use fstyp for see type or use mount , I can't
I think anything was done?I must use zfs for mounted
