Linux or Solaris 9 on Sun Sparc Ultra 60 3d

I am deciding whether to Linux or Solaris 9 on Sun Sparc Ultra 60 3d.

What Linux Distros work?

What do you recommend? Linux or Solaris 9?

Thanks.

That's depend to what you intend to do with your workstation but unless you want to help maintaining/updating ultrasparc linux to current versions, I recommend going straight to Solaris 10.
