I have a sun Vt100 rack server in the office which I am trying to install Redhat6.2.
The server has no video card /keyboard/mouse. It has a network slot for the lom port and another for the serial port.
I can connect to the server fine with lom port and I can get it to boot from the redhat sparc cdrom. this is where I run into the problem:
I need to boot in text mode and from serial console. Here is screen

This is where is just hangs,
I thougth it was because it didnt know what the console was. So I tried
boot: text linux console=ttya
I also tried ttyS0
The same thing happened here.
Would you have any advice? or know where I could find some.
