How to create an ISO image from a CD?

Hi.

I have some CDs I'd like to backup as ISO images and the question is: is there any command in Solaris that lets me do that? The only option I was thinking about was mounting the CDs and using mkisofs to make the image but I'm not sure that's the right way to do that (what if the CD is bootable? etc.)

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Enrico.

Something like:
Code:
dd if=<cd-device> of=image.iso bs=64k
cd-device would for example /dev/dsk/c1t0d0p0 (or s2).

In the Sun Java Desktop this works like "open filebrowser'; rightclick on cd icon and select copy cd 'as an image'. No extra software is needed.
