How can I "parametrize" my cdrom/dvd device?

Hi.

My dvd device is /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2 and I have no problems using the aliases provided by the removable media mounter when using CLI. But: I just installed xine from blastware.org and the "dvd" button doesn't work because it points to /vol/dev/aliases/cdrom0, which does not exist. Substituting this with /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2 gets it working, but it's not satisfactory because what I'd like would be an alias, indeed, but vold isn't there any longer because it was replaced by the rmvolmgr service, which does not provide /vol/dev/aliases.

How can I do that with Solaris (Ex. Dev. Ed. 9/07)?

Thanks,
Enrico.
