Got an issue where I'm getting a bunch of errors on a Sun Fire 480R. I edited syslog.conf and commented out the line that was putting them on the console (before the console was unusable because of the number of messages). Right now they are just going to /var/adm/messages and I'll stop that unless I find something.
I just jumpstarted the server and loaded Solaris 10, on the server I'm plugged into the interface labeled 0 (even though ifconfig -a shows I am in ce1). Nothing is plugged into the qfe interface, and it has a JNI card for SAN that I have not loaded the drivers for yet. I also force network to 100/full via /usr/sbin/ndd -set commands.
I did find a few things on google but nothing that stopped the messages.
Thanks for any input.
Here's what I am seeing:

edit --> Not sure why I see ce0-2 (3 interfaces) there is only 2 built in on the server.

Reason: More information
I just had a quick thought, have you got a card installed with a ce port in one of your pci slots, check your path_to_inst file for an instance.
The other suggestion is to jumpstart your system off qfe0, remove any cables from your on board ce ports, once the system has been built via jumpstart, reconfigure on board ce ports again.
Thanks for the input, the server had an old fibre connection card that used to go to a disk array. path_to_inst showed up with ce0 as a different path than the other 2. I pulled the card and that took care of the messages.
