Hi,
I'm fairly new to using Solaris and I have what may or may not be a simple question.
I was sent the following request:
1) using Windows2000
My Computer
Map Network Drive
select "Web Folder or FTP Site"
Network Wizard opens
enter address:
http://www.xxx/xxx/xxx
click on next
log-in/pswd: xxx/xxx
dialog box changes to "Completing the Add Network"
click on finish
shared folder should open.
a shortcut to the folder is saved in "My Network Places"
2) using Appleshare/IP
Chooser (OS9) or Connect to Server (OSX)
click on Appleshare icon
click on Server IP Address
enter: xxx.xxx.com
log-in/pswd: xxx/xxx
folder mounts on dekstop
Now do this using Solaris.

The idea (not mine) is to be able to use http or https to file share from behind a firewall. With a Windows2000 web server handling all the security portion (again not my idea), the Solaris system acts as the client in this case.
Any help appreciated.
