This thing keeps erroring out when I try to convert mkv to mp4. Look:
Code:
ffmpeg -i "The_Queens_Gambit_S01E03.mkv" -map 0 -c copy -c:a aac "The_Queens_Gambit_S01E03.mp4"
Multiple -c, -codec, -acodec, -vcodec, -scodec or -dcodec options specified for stream 1, only the last option '-c:a aac' will be used.
Unknown encoder 'aac'
ffmpeg -i "The_Queens_Gambit_S01E03.mkv" -map 0 -c:v h264 "The_Queens_Gambit_S01E03.mp4"
Automatic encoder selection failed for output stream #0:1. Default encoder for format mp4 (codec aac) is probably disabled. Please choose an encoder manually.
Error selecting an encoder for stream 0:1
The only thing I can say is that there's subtitles for every language under the sun on that. Matroska allows for that, but I don't know about mp4.
