After last update I'm getting this error with roxterm

Code:
$ roxterm
roxterm: error while loading shared libraries: libvte.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Try reinstalling the vte package.

roxterm is not included in Slackware, so you'll need to recompile it against the new vte package.
You don't normally see such problems in Slackware packages since we have tools to determine what's broken and re-build (or upgrade if possible and makes sense) it before an update batch goes out.

Check slackpkg file-search libvte.so.9, I think the vte package has been updated and you need to recompile your program.

vte had a shared library version bump in current and now is gtk+3 only.

if you want to parallel install the old version for gtk+2 just build it from this slackbuild
http://cgit.ponce.cc/slackbuilds/pla...es/vte2?h=vte2
