I've just got a new Raspi,4 from Lablists. I got a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for it, but getting it to recognise them is another matter. I connected phone to pc some time back, and at least they divulged a serial number each. No such luck with the keyboard and mouse. They seem to be very shy altogether. Given that I can't adjust the keyboard or mouse, there's going to be issues if they are not somewhat forthcoming
Is there a recognised way of setting such things up?
(again) would be nice to tell us some details, like type of the hardware. Does it need an usb stick?
Did you try to connect it to something else? What OS is running on your RPi4? Did you enable bluetooth on it?
Distribution: Mainly Devuan, antiX, & Void, with Tiny Core, Fatdog, & BSD thrown in.

I have a bluetooth keyboard/touch pad unit, (Kmoon), for which I had to type some letters whilst the OS was searching for it, on my RPi3B+, you may find the same if you read the leaflet that comes with yours.
It's a Logitech Keyboard & mouse. They came together as a set. They are battery operated with no cables, and on/off switches. But the last time I went at bluetooth (Pairing phone and pc) I got a serial number for hci0 from each. I'm getting nothing from the keyboard/mouse

Hey, Bluetoothctl has given me numbers for them. I'll go off and try and remember some of this stuff.
EDIT:Hmmmm, it seems bluetoothctl ius giving me numbers all right. but what the numbers are for is another matter. There's a Bluetooth speaker my son has which shows, my pc and phone have bluetooth controllers and they show up by their hostnames. What's the handy way of figuring these peripherals out?
In Raspbian, there's a utility for addimg thimgs. I try "Add Device." It gives me a few numbers, but throws errors when I try connecting.

I ordered this before my seizures and received it afterwards - that's my excuse.

It's wifi, not bluetooth, so it's not surprising bluetooth isn't doing much. They have this stupid little dongle with it which is supposed to act like a usb socket for them. They wifi to the dongle, which gives them a usb feed. They don't work.
