Is there applet for Xfce enabling thing called Night Color?
Some time ago, I made a slackbuild for changing the light/dark plasma theme during the day.
With some (many?) modifications, maybe it can be adapted to XFCE.
As far as I remember, XFCE has a separate "desktop" and "window" theme. So, I don't know if it will be easy or not.
Plasma already has its own tool for color temperature setting. But in slackbuilds I found this: sct. Small terminal tool just
Code:
$ sct 3400
now I can use Xfce with more comfort.
Edit: Misunderstanding. I didn't read enough carefully your project description. It is not only about color temperature setting. Day/Night theme switcher.
