[SOLVED] Slackware 15 64

hello and happy new year!

i've just installed a fresh 15.0 64 system and also fetched latest updates so i think state should be pretty up to date. Unfortunately package from slackbuilds fails to install. All listed dependencies except for qt5pas were installed. I cannot find the latter one on my known repos. Here is the error i get

"This package provides the libqt5pas library."

Looks like the dependency list for doublecmd-qt5 is incomplete.
You would need https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...ries/libqtpas/ additionally.

My advice is to report this defect on the slackbuilds-users mailing list or else in their #slackbuilds IRC channel on LiberaChat.

Unless you feel the need for public acclaim for discovering a defect, my advice is to first report the defect to the maintainer's email address listed in the SlackBuild's .info file.

Most maintainers respond to and fix defects quickly - they don't want to be responsible for defective SlackBuilds. If they don't respond in a few days, then go public.

Looking at the .info file, it has this line:

Code:

REQUIRES="lazarus"

But looking at the slack-desc file it has this text:

Code:

doublecmd-qt5: Since it is written in Pascal, lazarus, fpc, and qt5pas packages must
doublecmd-qt5: be installed before building.

The linking error about -lQt5Pas is most likely solved by installing the qt5pas package.

fixed the issue for me
