Weeeeeelllll - the statement does at least say "initial work". It's a long way off from being anything useful. With any luck it will get some decent features - but for now it looks like a hack, and a poor one at that. Not often that a genuine open-source product (bumble-bee) offers better functionality before the proprietary stuff, but that sure is the case here. Will watch this, but won't touch yet.
