Question Latest -current Alien ISO, Xfce is missing many style themes


Hi,

I used this :
http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/sl...4-current-iso/

Only have Daloa, Kokodi and a few others.

This is normal. Same behaviour as in -current.

I used a -current for one year and had all themes.
I did a fresh install the other day so I presume something was removed meanwhile.

The xfwm4-themes package from Xfce 4.10 is not part of Xfce 4.12 anymore, as it seems. (In theory it works though.)

My theory is the switch to GTK3 may require these skins ported to CSS, which is good, since theme writers used to write for gtk2 and then separate metacity skin, xfwm skin, emerald skin - all incompatible and duplicate effort.
CSS is very simple to write, you would have uniform skins for all GTK3, they would be portable and easily configurable with a single file.

Compiled the xfwm4-themes 14.1 sources, it works !
