Konqueror web browsing

I have decided to just use konqueror for my web browser, since mozilla runs very sluggish on my K6-2 450MHz, however, the only thing that works in konqueror on my mouse, is the wheel, but my left and right side buttons do not change the pages back and forth, how do I fix this?

You have to add them to your X config. There's more threads about this then I care to count so just do a little search about getting 5 button mice working or something like that. Should find what you need.

I already have my xinitrc and xorg.conf configured accordingly, because under mozilla my side buttons and wheel works, but not under konqueror.. why?

You try setting it under Settings -> Configure Shortcuts

It seems to me mozilla essentially built in they're own code for handling extra buttons on mice.... where as konquer depends on what X windows lets it do.

Great... Well I looked under the shortcuts for konqueror, but it doesn't let me specify left and right side buttons........doh........Well I hope those guys who made knoqueror will update their code to put this feature in, unless somebody here has figured out a workaround
