I made a new user using adduser. I can dialup but when I tried to browse I get an "host unknown" error. I use konqueror, mozilla and opera-all with the same result.
I also made the groups for my default user(me) and the new user the same.
If PPP is set correctly, and you can dialout as root, this means that you must either activate dial-on-demand (ppp-go -d) or change the permissions on ppp-go (chmod a+x ppp-go) to allow your new user to dial out.
