Kicad 5.1.2 Slackbuild on Slackware64 14.2: wxWidgets errors in Cmake

When trying to compile the main Kicad program, I get the following Cmake errors:

Code:
-- Found wxPython 3.0.2.0/gtk2 (wxWidgets 3.0.2.0)
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-3.5/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:148 (message):
Could NOT find wxWidgets (missing: wxWidgets_LIBRARIES
wxWidgets_INCLUDE_DIRS) (Required is at least version "3.0.2.0")
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  /usr/share/cmake-3.5/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:388 (_FPHSA_FAILURE_MESSAGE)
  CMakeModules/FindwxWidgets.cmake:944 (find_package_handle_standard_args)
  CMakeLists.txt:762 (find_package)
And then it quits.

I have wxGTK3-3.0.4 and wxPython3-3.0.2.0 installed. I removed wxPython-2.8 and the previous Kicad (4.0.7), which had compiled and worked perfectly, before attempting to build Kicad 5.1.2. Kicad-library and Kicad-doc built with no issues.

I must have forgotten to do something, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what it is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had this problem with Audacity, it would not build. As far as I remember, a rebuild of wxGTK3 fixed it.

Have a read of this, it might help:

Rebuilding wxGTK3 and wxPython3 did the trick. Kicad built and started up perfectly after that. Thanks.

I think what happened was that I installed wxGTK3 and wxPython3 before removing wxPython-2.8 and Kicad 4.0.7. That must have been where those file locations got lost. Anyway, it's all OK now.

Did you try to compile Kicad - nightly these days ?
I tried in Slackware-current, but I'm getting the same output:
(missing: wxWidgets_LIBRARIES
wxWidgets_INCLUDE_DIRS)
and cmake terminates. I also rebuilt wxGTK3 and wxPython3, without success.
