Can't find bare.i on custom ISO CD

I'm trying to make a custom bootable CD with all the extra packages taken out with tag files. I've followed the instructions in /isolinux to make a bootable CD using mkisofs. When I boot the CD, it shows the Welcome to Slacware text than as usual prompts for kernel. Bare.i is in the /bootdisks directory on the CD. When prompted I can't specify the bare.i path to get it to work.

How do I get mkisofs to specify exactly where bare.i and color.gz are located. I assume I'll also need color.gz.
To get the Slackware install to work do I have to install anything or make any references to it.

Or there an easier way to get the same result with Nero or CDRWIN?

You shouldnt need to specify the path, just type "bare.i" and hit enter and see what happens.

Yeah I tried that too and it doesn't work. I'm just wondering how its done on the "master" isos that are sent around the net all you have to do is hit enter and it finds the boot kernel and keeps loading. I went as far as specifying the exact path for bare.i on the CD and it won't work.

I found the solution......

I was using a pre- RC1 build and somehow the /kernels directory wasn't posted in there. Its obvious now I was missing that. This is the 1st time I try building it myself but Prob. should have noticed it.
Note to self: read the directories *before* burinng the CD.

Thanks anyways Aussie
