Updating config files marked as "extremely important" by rigo under Sabayon

Just wanted to know whether proceeding with the mentioned update of config files suggested by rigo application browser, might represent a threat to my operating system's stability.
I attached a pic of the listed files to be updated.

That's a threat, not a thread.
Does rigo offer you a way to compare both files, old and new version, before commiting to a solution?

ooops, edited that! Thanks, I'm a Spanish speaker so... my bad.
And, yup, there's this option to compare but, anyway, it's Chinese for me.

The .desktop files: you can take the new versions and discard the old versions. I wonder why rigo doesn't just do that automatically, it doesn't look like you ever edited those?
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf is a different case. You have to decide what you want to do.
Are you familiar with the format you're seeing?
- is the old file, and lines that get removed
+ is the new file, and lines that get added
Everything else stays as it is.

It looks like rigo is a graphical version of Gentoo's "etc-update" which allows you to replace, merge or delete changes to configuration files after they are updated upstream. Agree with Ondoho's recommendations.

I assumed the "risk" and accepted every suggested update for the files mentioned. Fortunately, everything went as expected. Luckily, no headaches at all. Since I am not an advanced user (nor a beginner), I really hesitate whenever this kind of updates show up.
