Chrome not showing youtube after reboot

Hi,

I'm having an issues I cannot put my finger on and I'm hoping someone here can help me with this.

Chrome doesn't player Youtube videos correctly. It will play the sound but no video is shown. If I delete the Google-Chrome folder in .config and restart Chrome it will show the videos correctly but if I close and reopen chrome it stops showing the video.

I'm at a loss what it could be and would be thankful for any insight on this.

I thank you for your time.

While I'm glad that you found a work-around for your problem, it unfortunately does not 'solve' the problem, which I still have.

You are correct, this is just a workaround. But it is a workaround I can live with as there is no difference between chrome and chromium on a usability level.

I guess it was only you and myself that had/have this issue.
