Question rc.local and power failure


hi all,

i m using redhat 9 and i have put some commands in rc.local to run automaticaly when restart and it works well.

the problem when power failure happen suddenly the system restart and ignore all the commands that i add i dont know, anyone have any idea about that???

Do they run if you invoke the rc.local script manually?

i didnt try to run rc.local manually realy but when i restart the system it works good after restart,

the problem when the system shutdown suddenly when the power fail it restart without running the commands that i add in rc.local
