Other CentOS Repositories

I'm using CentOS 5.0 on a 64-bit system and have been pretty happy with it however, a few times now, I've needed an app not in their repositories. Are there any other RELIABLE repositories I could try? Sort of like a livna.org for CentOS?

Is there a version of RH that would be a match where I could use one of those rpms?

I've tried using Fedora rpms once or twice as a test and got nothing but a long, red list of broken dependencies.

Thanks for your help.
