basically everything that has gnome in its name, gdm too and many many utils with a leading 'g' in the names.

gdm - gnome desktop manager if i'm not wrong (login display)

basic packages:
gnome-applets2
gnome-audio
gnome-common
gnome-desktop
and so on for "gnome-*"

you can try to look for some more packages if you don't find some of the utils you might need on the cds you have at http://www.rpmfind.net
rawhide and redhat is what you need

OK, thanks.
Now Ive got the RPM packages for install Gnome.
I know the way to install manually (by rpm command), but what about using Add/remove Applications feature in KDE.

Ive tried by selecting
StartHere->System Settings->Add/Remove Applications
but I couldnt select the item for Gnome Desktop Enviroment in
Add/Remove Applications window (there wasnt any checkbox on the left of the item as it should be) to install.

Ive already read the installing guide at http://www.linuxboxen.dk/redhat/redh...kgs-cdrom.html
but It couldnt help 'cause when I inserted the CD into the drive, nothing happened, no autorun, and ofcause no Package Management Tool interface appears allowing me to select packages groups to install as well as individual packages within the groups

So what can I do ?

you need first to mount the cd using /mount -t /dev/cdrom or wherever it is on your system, when it's mounted you will need to simply cd /path_to_your_cd_drive (mount point) and ./autorun in case it's not done automatically
