Hi,

I have installed Redhat 9 in my dell 8600 laptop.

This laptop has Braodcom 440x 10/100 integreted ethernet card. So I downloaded bcm4400-3.0.7 driver from braodcom website. When I tried to install the rpm package i am getting the following error messages.

Could you please tell me what is this error about? and how to solve this error?

I am struggling with this problem from last 3 months. please help.

Your system doesn't have the correct libraries to compile this package. You'd probably be better off getting the precompiled binary package and installing that instead.
