What if I do not want to shutdown but want to have it sleep?

Sorry for asking these dumb questions.
I am trying to learn BionicPup32. What if I do not want the machine shutdown but want it sleep? There must be a button or icon I do not know.
Help me, please?

If it uses SystemD, you can issue the command systemctl suspend in a terminal. If not, try pm-suspend.
