It's a bit of an oddity, it's true....but
noryb009 has been maintaining these for a few years now. Essentially, it permits the installation of a 'Puppy frugal' install from within Windows.

It's a way for total Linux 'noobs' to install a Puppy on their Windows machine, using a method they'll understand, complete with adding a boot menu for them, so they can then
choose what to boot into.

The accepted method for re-naming something you don't want Pup to use is to tack '.bak' on the end of the file-name....but as colorpurple says, any gibberish will do, as long as you make it so Pup doesn't recognise it.

I'm running an earlier version of Xenialpup myself (7.0.8.1), amongst others. Its creator, Phil Broughton, took a 9-month 'sabbatical' from Puppy-stuff last year, but is now back in the saddle.....and the final, current version (7.5), is the result.
