Thanks for the replies. I've seen a lot of posts about the HPLIP PET package in the repos but I was hoping there was a fat Puppy from the last 10 years with it pre-installed.
i didn't realise this was the point.
you should have specified!
(most people are just too sqeamish/lazy to install thing sthemselves and for some poor reasoning judge a distro by what it comes preinstalled with)
You'll not find any Puppy with printer drivers installed.
Average Pup size is anywhere from 150- 230/40 MB. Puppy is a small, lightweight distro, with the intention of keeping everything as lean as possible. There are so many different models of printer on the market, that if Puppy came with all that lot pre-installed, it could conceivably double, or even treble the size of the ISO.
Which, for Pup, is kinda defeating the object of the excercise.

While I appreciate that you're having account issues over at Murga, please understand that the subject doesn't fit into the nature of LinuxQuestions. If you need help with this, I'm quite happy to help you. I can contact Flash, our admin, and pass your details on to him, and he can sort it out from his end.
This is not unusual.....especially if you're using a GMail a/c. I'll need the e-mail addy you used, then Flash can contact you directly and sort things out that way. You'll have to give it to me on open forum, I'm afraid, since I haven't accumulated enough posts to be permitted private messaging yet.
I have visitor messaging enabled in my PM settings. You can do what Mike Walsh requests with me, then I can relay it to him. I need to add Mike Walsh to my friends list and contacts. It is way over due any ways.

To update on the Murga forum bug, I still have not received any confirmation email, not even in the spam folder. There can't be that many unconfirmed November registrants. The Murga forum is not that busy. There must be even fewer November registrants who did all the things in the bug report.
Other post's OP request:

Puppy forum administrator, please send confirmation emails to November 2017 registrants who have not confirmed yet.
