Pale Moon browser does not access internet in Tahrpup.

I very recently installed Tahrpup 6.0.2 on an old Macbook (after several difficulties mentioned in another thread).

Using the Connect icon, I connected to eth0. . .I think. At least, it told me that the connection was successful, and there is now an icon in the panel showing a live connection. However whenever I open the Pale Moon Browser it says "Server not found".

I briefly installed Macpup and had no difficulty accessing the internet, so the hardware works (maybe I shouldn't have quarrelled with success?).

Any ideas on what the bug is, or solutions?

After browsing on the internet for a while, I decided to run the Tahr disk as a live-disk, just to see if there were any differences — and the "Simple Network Setup" found the network at once, and Pale Moon connected at once.

Trying with Tahrpup installed on the hard-drive I was using "Network Wizard"; maybe that made the difference?

And apparently that was the difference.
Restarting from the hard-drive and choosing a different wizard gave me a connection and a working Pale Moon, and on restarting it continued to work, so I guess I'll call this good.

To anyone else looking to this, my only advice is that patience is a virtue!
