No, system is installed to hard drive.

It is no big deal.

I have another issue.

I have a power strip that I turn on and off and it supplies power to laptop and the desktop computer.

When I turn on the power strip, the desktop computer comes on without hitting the power switch.

I have to hit the power button on the laptop to get it to start.

Never seen anything like it. :-)

Must have a poltergeist.

My first thought is check the BIOS settings. Some motherboards have a setting to boot when power available.

No, but I found out that all partitions mount in the PuppEx distro using the same fstab.
