Larger desktop with multiple monitors?

Linux Puppy distribution tahrpup64 6.0.5 allows to use 2 monitors "out of the box", but they are clones of each other.

I tried to find settings to have them as a wider desktop, not copies of each other, but could not find.

Ubuntu distribution Wily Werewolf 15.10 allowed that in my laptop with a VGA-connector and Intel 4000 series chips.

Is there an easy way to achieve this in Linux Puppy? (I would love that due to small size).

If an answer requires more facts about my system I am happy to provide them. (system info is 4404 lines, ... but it is impractical to have that all here ...)

Edit:
The problem been solved now, thanks to Keith Hedger and "xrandr"

Edit2:
Now, mysteriously, the thread tools entry contained the row "mark thread as solved". Fine!

I do not have puppy here, but depending on your graphics card, you have several options. AMD and NVIDIA have apps where I think you can set this (mirror, expand). Does puppy have kde or gnome? Are you using intel graphics?

If you have gnome, it should in the system settings, kde has these settings in control panel.
