Exclamation Installing Puppy

You need to be more specific in your questions. If you are just starting out it is probably best to run from the live CD version for awhlie until you figure out what you really need to do. Also, go to the main site in the links in the sticky at the top of this forum - you should find answers to most questions there.

Lightbulb Install questions...

We are all newbies at some point so your asking questions is not really a problem. But before anyone can help you with an install you need to aquire some basic knowledge about linux in general and puppy in particular. Hence my directing you to the links in the sticky at the top of this forum - go to the main puppy forum and run a forum search using keywords like "hard drive" and "install", read the threads and then check out the wiki pages for the same topics. Then when you post a help request give us some specifics about your hardware - Processor type, how much RAM, is puppy going to be the sole OS or will you dual boot with something else? What do you want puppy to do? With a question as broad as yours there really is no way for us to give you anything but the most general type of answers. And those probably aren't what you are looking for.
