Question I am using Puppy and enable to print the hindi document


Dear sir,

I am trying to use puppy linux 5.2.8 for day-today use but i am not able to print the hindi words, it prints garbage symbols
i am using the Epson300+ii printer
i have already installed the indi font in

Code:
/usr/share/font/default/TTF/Akshar.ttf
even i have tried local language setting to hindi but itshows day date time in hindi bbut while printing it prints garbage symbols(non-hindi unreadable symbols)

anyone knows what can be done to get out of this please let me know

NOTE: I AM USING THE TERMINAL PRINTING LIKE,
Code:
lpr -P Epson FileName

I don't know whether you know about this or not but later Puppies had momanager in them to help with language issues so maybe look at the Puppy linux sites and look at a later version of 5.28 being developed which will have momanager which should help with this.

dear sir,

i am trying to use the lpr command for printing and the actual problem i found is that there is an issue in use of lpr to print the document with hindi letters
i am using following command and have to use command line printing only

Code:
lpr -P Printer filename
please help me with suggestion
