What file? Where'd you get it?

If I had to guess: extract the archive to wherever you please, locate the firefox executable in the newly extracted directory tree and execute it as the spot user.

Is it a pet file or another? IOW, what is the file's extension -- .pet or .txz or what?

Usually, if I remember right, one just double-clicks on the file and Petzip will pop up and ask if user wants to install the app file.

Did you try to then read them from the Seamonkey website: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/do...-and-uninstall

This is much like your previous thread, where you provided no information, and seemed to do no research:

To add SeaMonkey to Slacko use PPM and search the Patches repo for the latest version.
That is from the release notes.
