Can not play .mp4 with VLC

If I am posting too many questions, PLEASE let me know. :-)

Trying to play .mp4 movies with VLC, but am getting these messages.

I have searched already. That is why I posted.

Using your search link, it led my to a .ymp file which is OpenSuse.

I am using Tahr Puppy.
