I went through the boot dialog to set up puppy and it hung when I hit ok after selecting the nvidia driver. I rebooted and it went to the desktop. None of the 3d games like quake3 will run, but puppy is ok otherwise. Also, it must have saved a configuration file on the hard disk because on reboots, it goes right to the desktop. The box is a dual boot xp home edition and suse 10.1. I would like to delete the configuration file and try again. I checked the root of c: drive and could not find the standard puppy configuration file. The box is a p-4 with 512 gig ram and nvidia agp geforce 5200 graphics card.

Problem solved! I had to disconnect one of the cd-rom drives so the wizard would mount the cd and load the driver. The puppy games cd works very well now.
