"subscribed threads" list shows wrong Last Posting activity

I login to LQ and select QuickLinks --> SubscribedThreads. When the report appears, several threads appear in bold type (indicating they are as yet unread). When I read the Last Posting column, they show that my_user [aka, me, myself] was the last to post and that the time is in the middle of the night (eg, 00:44, or 01:15).

Unfortunately, I was not online at those times. In addition, it is often the case that there has been no new activity that would warrant the thread unread bold text indication.

COMMENTARY:
The time issue could involve an incorrect processing of the stored time versus my profile configured time zone (USA CDT: GMT -6).

The unread thread, bold font issue might be incorrect processing of a new forum thread created by the user who is requesting a display of subscribed threads. Since the poster of a new thread is automatically
subscribed to that thread, a display request would show this new thread with zero replies but is it really "unread" by the one who created the thread in the first place?

The bogus Last Posting display could also result from some backend processing that leaves bread crumbs in the data which are later interpreted as "activity" and thus causing an update to the Last Posting status.

Cheers,
~~~ 0;-Dan
Thread with no replies are automatically "bumped" by the system, so unless it's also happening for threads with responses, everything is working as expected.
