LQ FAQ, member rank explanation update (guru)

The http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...l&titlesonly=0 should be updated to reflect the fact that "Guru" no longer is a valid status/rank and the ladder ends with "senior member" or whatever LQ uses now.

You may be confusing user groups with user titles - the linked list is correct.

LQ Guru

Assuming the linked list shows "titles", would you please expand upon that: what are "groups" then? Does 'groups' describe a ladder such as:

guest
new member (potential spammer)
member (certified human as best we can tell)
moderator
root

or something to this effect?

On topic: I *thought* there was conversation waaay back about 'Guru' -- maybe that 'Guru' was no longer automatically given based on post count, but rather is a choice after 5000? (memory of that convo may have inspired me to inspire UnSpawn to create this thread-- I did bring it up in mods@ recently)
