Adding external links in a review is not possible
When using the <url></url> tags in a review, the links are apended with "&", thus breaking the link.

I started to add a few links today on my Ubuntu review, and I could not create any link successfully.

See, we use the tags "<url></url>" for linking. If you try that in a review, the "&" will be appended to the link, making it completely broken.

For example, I've mentioned OpenOffice in my review and the word "OpenOffice" was in fact a link to the OpenOffice.org site. Here is an example:

<URL="http://www.openoffice.org/">OpenOffice 2.4</URL>

I've replaced the "[]" for "<>" here for obvious reasons. The final link after saving the review is this:

http://&quot/;http://www.openoffice.org/&quot;

Which is quite wrong and renders the link unusable. I am adding a priority 3 for this bug, since it can render a review heavily detailed with external links and screenshots completely broken.

Please not that some character combinations will also be wrongly displayed. For instance:

This >> then this >> then this

Surrounded by <b> and/or <i> tags will also append the "&" character. I may create a separated bug if necessary, but I believe they are related.

Regards!

I've been testing a little bit and it looks like the quote(") marks are the ones causing trouble. Removing them from the address link, works just fine. As an example:

<URL="http://www.openoffice.org/">OpenOffice 2.4</URL>

won't work, but:

<URL=http://www.openoffice.org/>OpenOffice 2.4</URL>

will work fine. It is a bug still, since I believe the page adds them automatically, with or without clicking the "Insert Link" button.

The correct syntax is indeed without the quotes, but we'll look into this.
