No errors when setting too long password
If set password is longer then 31 chars then login becomes impossible.

I just found Jeremy's recommendation of posting to the bug tracker from an old thread of mine (July 2007). The problem was that when setting passwords longer then 31 characters then it's not possible to login using the password nor a truncated version of it. The suggestion would be to add an error message when a password longer then the maximal length is attempted to be configured.

I haven't done any new tests now and I presume that the fault hasn't been fixed yet. If it has, sorry.
