xilinx system ace driver for compact flash on a fpga based pci card doesnt work

Hi friends,

This is first time posting my problem in this site.

I am working on xilinx system ace driver for compact flash sitting on a fpga based pci card.
Host: x86, linux-2.4-20-8
The host interacts with fpga on the pci bus, and an xilinx ace controller acts as an interface in between the fpga and compact flash.
I got the xilinx code from linuxppc kernel "xilinx_systemace".
The problem is :
I am able to insmod the module but when i try to look at the partitions with fdisk, the command just reads the ID data sector and stops.
It doesnt give the prompt back nor display the partitions nor hangs.

Anyone Please help me in this regard.
Please let me know if any information is required.

Thanks
Sudheer
