writing raw data to a tiff file

How do i write .raw data file information to a tiff file. I have the .tiff information which i manuallly attach the values myself to the header file in the output tiff file. I just want to know how do i write blocks of this raw data to a tiff file.

Very helpful. That last article explains the difference between TIFFWriteEncoded and TIFFWriteRaw which now makes sense to me.
