what kind of static/dynamic analysis tools do you use?


I like to have some tools to check the quality of my code. And my code is c/c++ for ARM-linux embedded system. What kind of tools will you recommand? static check / dynamic check? lclint, uno, eletric fence, memcheck ...

Any input is welcome

To debug memory leaks you may use LeakTracer. Just google for it.

Do you compile with gcc? Then you probably want to compile it with -pg and run your programme in a realistic environment. Afterwards you can run gprof to profile your programme for execution times, number of function calls, etc.
