python limits in the interpreter

Hello
I wanted just ask are there any limits in the default interpreter, and can we remove them ?
I was performing some tests with highly unreliable app so I need to set them higher.

Which limit are you talking about? Which errors did you get?
The only limit I am aware of is the recursion limit. Did you get a RecursionLimitExceeded exception?

http://www.python.org/doc/2.0.1/lib/module-sys.html

getrecursionlimit ()
Return the current value of the recursion limit, the maximum depth of the Python interpreter stack. This limit prevents infinite recursion from causing an overflow of the C stack and crashing Python. It can be set by setrecursionlimit().
