Problem moving data displays with mouse in DDD

I just compiled DDD-3.3.8 on my slackware 9 box, and everything is working fine, except I can't seem to move data displays around on the grid.

Last time I used ddd (at least a year ago), you could display a variable, and then grab the display anywhere on the grid. With this one, I am unable to drag it at all.

Has anyone run into this before, or am I missing something?

Thanks,

John
