Linux + Chromebook

Hey there,

i have bought a new chromebook on accident. I needed to find out the hard way that isnt possible to launch windows applikations or others just with other ways. Im already 5 hours into it and cant figure out a way that works for me.

I found an app named "Crossover" to start Windows applications, it works, but its a patcher and after that normaly an checkbox for admins appears and the "true" .exe would be started.

The command to start the programm goes: /home/myname/myfolder/patcher.exe

I hoped for an solution to add more to the code so that not just that patcher starts but that was comes after too.

Or any other advise to make this work i would really appreciate it.

Have a good one and thank you already for reading this.

If it is an intel chromebook go to https://mrchromebox.tech/, and you find out what is possible on your chromebook as far as linux/wine. If it is arm, you probably don't have good choices.
